FIRE SURVIVAL CABLES

GARMAL Fire Survival Cables are designed for continuous operation for a defined Minimum period of time during a fire including water spray and mechanical shock.
These are used in circuits that must be a able to maintain their integrity during a fire. Traditionally the main application for fire survival cables was in fire alarm systems.
Now these types of cables are extensively used for a fire safety in safety critical circuits such as those powering emergency lighting, sprinkle pumps, hospitals, airports, malls. These FIRE SURVIVAL CABLES are carefully tested as per IEC-60331 standards to meet the industry laid parameters.

Characteristics:
- Will withstand Flame temperature of 750°C up to 3 hours without electrical breakdown at rated voltage
- Does not produce noxious smoke and fumes which hinder fire fighting
- Does not propogate fleme

Control Cables generally have the following characterics:
Conductor : Electrolytic Grade Copper Bare/Tinned, Solid/Stranded conf. to IS:8130/1984
Fire Barrier : Conductor are insulated with glass Mica Tapes, Mica Tape Survives temp. up to 10000C. It is non toxic, chemically Netural and 100% halogen free.
Insulation : Heat Resistant PVC / XLPE or any other dielectric material as per customer specifications.
Other Detail : Shielding with braiding/Aluminum Mylar taping will be done overall or individually depends up on requirement. Armouring provided depending upon requirement with a extruded inner special PVC sheath and Overall sheath of Special type PVC.
The inner and outer sheath material may be FR/FRLS/ZHFR
